Galera Wine Tour

Galera Wine Tour

Spain is now the largest producer of wine in the world as production increases by 41% surpassing both the French and Italian competitors. The Spanish ministry said that Spanish vineyards produced 50 million hectolitres, enough to fill 6.7 billion bottles of wine!! As you know at Lifestyle in Spain we like to support all things made in Spain, so we invite you to join us and taste a selection of traditional Spanish wines with tapas.

From the Albariño wines produced in the North of Galicia , Rioja which takes its name from the region where the grapes are grown and harvested; to Cataluña the home of Spanish cava/champagne, the exquisite collection of wines from La Mancha, Andalucía’s famous sherry from Jerez, to the Bodegas in the Rhonda.

On this wonderful tour of Galera we will visit the vineyards and a bodega that produces red, white and rose wines plus a fabulous sparkling cava. The vines are grown at an altitude of between 900 and 1600 metres above sea level. With a dry continental climate and varied changes in the temperature between day and night, this creates a distinctive flavour only found in the grapes grown in this local area.
